We used 20% VLT film on the rear three windows and 35% film on the driver and passenger glass. This process prevents scratches in the glass while ensuring a perfect fit to the edges of the glass. As always, we used our computer-controlled plotter to cut the film instead of using a razor knife on the vehicle glass. We installed 3M Color Stable film on all five windows. With the stereo upgrade complete, our team turned its attention to tinting the windows of the little Nissan coupe. The final step in our work on this 350z was to tint the windows. We cut the panel to fit tightly to the area under the rear strut support, then added a mesh-protected opening on the center so the bass from the subwoofers could enter the vehicle. The last step was a custom grille and trim panel for the front of the enclosure. This trim was also finished in the same black carpet. The next step was to create a trim panel that went around the perimeter of the enclosure so that the edges appeared flush with the sides of the vehicle. The enclosure was constructed to maximize the available air volume for the subs while making the best use of space between the rear strut tower bridge and the speaker pods behind the seats.ДЄfter we constructed the enclosure, we wrapped it in an automotive-grade carpet to match the cargo area floor.

These 10-inch subs were rated to continuously handle 250 watts of power with peak power handling specified at 500 watts.

The installation began with our team creating an enclosure for a pair of Power Reference PR10D4V2 10-inch subwoofers. The enclosure left the client with tons of hatch space.
